"All right, let's gamble, then. I'm in a hurry to get back, so let's keep it simple." Yang Ce glanced around, then walked over to a blackjack table nearby.
He casually drew a playing card from the discard box beneath the table and said, "Guess what this card is. Guess right, and I lose."
The playing cards in a casino were used only once per deck before being thrown into the discard box, so beneath every card table there was a box of discarded playing cards.
"You're making things impossible!" Yu Deyi had been grateful to Yang Ce for giving him this chance, but at Yang Juehuan's words his face flushed crimson and he glared at Yang Ce in fury.
"Impossible? I don't see it that way." Yang Ce shrugged. "You can draw one at random and have me guess, too."
"Me guess? Hah, you think I don't know your little tricks?" Yu Deyi roared angrily. "When the time comes, you'll probably say you can't guess either, and then the two of us will call it a draw, right?"
Yang Ce was taken aback—he had not expected Yu Deyi to make that connection. He had never intended any such thing, but hearing Yu Deyi say it, it really did sound plausible. If he too said he could not guess, would that not make it a draw?
And if it was a draw, then neither side would have to pay the stakes.

873. Final Victory
873 Final Victory. At this thought, Yang Yongjin could not help but laugh and cry at once—it seemed this Yu Deyi was truly cautious, to have thought of even this. But Yu Deyi could hardly be blamed for being careful; this was his last chance to turn things around, and anyone in his shoes would be doubly cautious.
"All right, if it's a draw, then the forty billion in my hands counts as lost to you. How about that?" Yang Minlan said to Yu Deyi with a smile.
"Are you serious?" Yu Deyi was stunned. He had not expected Yang Ce to say such a thing—would that not mean he had stumbled onto a huge bargain?
"Of course. My word is my bond." Yang Yuting nodded.
"Good, it's a deal!" Yu Deyi said, somewhat excitedly. This was a golden opportunity that came once in a lifetime—even if Nancheng Casino ultimately had to move out of here, recovering the forty billion in losses would be more than wonderful.
"Then shall we begin?" Yang Ce gestured to the card in his hand. "Guess."
"I concede. I can't guess it." Yu Deyi said frankly. It was simply impossible to guess—drawing a card at random from the discard box, only someone with X-ray eyes could get it right. "Heh, all right, then it's your turn." Yang Yanzhou stepped aside of his own accord, moving ten meters away from the discard box.
"Good, my turn." Though Yu Deyi did not think Yang Ce could pull any tricks in Nancheng Casino, he still cautiously switched to the discard box at another table, drew a card at random from it, and slapped it face down on the table: "This one. Guess what it is."
"Five of hearts, I'd say." Yang Ce glanced over casually, then said.
In truth, even Yu Deyi himself did not know what the card was—he had not even looked at it, placing it face down directly on the table, and he did not believe Yang Ce could guess it correctly.
When Yang Ce casually said "five of hearts," Yu Deyi assumed he was just talking off the top of his head and did not take it seriously. He laughed and said, "I concede. Though I feel unworthy of taking this forty billion, the South City Casino is in desperate need of the money."
"What are you talking about?" Yang Xu Tang had heard Yu Deyi's words and asked, somewhat puzzled.
"Wasn't it you who said earlier that if it was a draw, you would also lose forty billion?" Yu Deyi thought Yang Ce was playing dumb and grew angry at once. "Are you going back on what you said?"
"When did I ever go back on my word?" Yang Cen Bin only now understood what Yu Deyi meant. Clearly, he had misunderstood.
"You haven't gone back on your word, so why won't you honor it now that it's a draw?" Yu Deyi demanded.
