At the foot of the mountain, inside the business van, a soldier on coordinate watch saw the coordinates on the screen begin to flash and at once said to Chen Yuxuan, who was dozing nearby: "Captain Chen, something's come up!"
"Oh?" Chen Yuxuan snapped awake, his eyes on the computer screen — but the flashing coordinates made him start!
Wei Zhao's and Wang Xinyan's coordinates? Chen Yuxuan had thought that any one of the students on this field exercise might run into trouble — anyone except Wei Zhao. Wei Zhao was already an Earth rank expert; for a jungle like this to stump him was simply unthinkable.
Yet it was precisely Wei Zhao's coordinates that had gone wrong!
If something had happened to Wei Zhao, it had to be something serious. Chen Yuxuan did not dare take it lightly. He ordered at once: "Ready the rescue helicopter. I'll go take a look myself!"
"Yes, sir!" A soldier on standby received the order and immediately went to prepare the helicopter.
Chen Yuxuan quickly got out of the van and headed for the helicopter, but he refused to let anyone else board. He meant to fly it alone to reach Wei Zhao.
If Wei Zhao truly was in danger, sending ordinary men would be useless. Chen Yuxuan was the strongest here; going himself was the safest and most practical choice.
True, if it was a trouble beyond even Wei Zhao's ability to handle, then Chen Yuxuan would be of no use either — but since Wei Zhao had sent the signal, it meant he was probably not in any grave danger. For the sake of secrecy, Chen Yuxuan decided to go alone.
The helicopter was far faster than walking. Soon Chen Yuxuan was nearing the coordinates, and from his vantage he spotted Wei Zhao's small tent. Beside it lay an open clearing, and Chen Yuxuan set the helicopter down on it without hesitation.
Yet once he was out of the aircraft, what astonished Chen Yuxuan was that Wei Zhao and Wang Xinyan were perfectly fine, standing by the tent waiting for him — and at Wei Zhao's feet lay two strangers, alive or dead he could not tell.
"Leader!" When no outsiders were present, Chen Yuxuan addressed Wei Zhao directly as Leader.
Wang Xinyan glanced at Chen Yuxuan in surprise, then at Wei Zhao. Instructor Chen actually called Wei Zhao "Leader"? What was that about? But though she was puzzled, she asked nothing.
"Yutian, there are two drug dealers here. They were in the middle of a deal. I caught them." Wei Zhao pointed at the two men on the ground.
