"Check whether he's got any good organs on him. Cut them out and sell them. Throw the rest in the crocodile pond to feed the crocodiles!" Little Mule glanced at the motionless Red Dragon on the floor and waved a hand.

"Yes, Brother Mule!" The lackey dragged Red Dragon's body out of the room again and went off to carry out Little Mule's orders.

Yunhai Shuku's scalp crawled! These people were too savage! The man was already dead, and they still wanted to cut out his organs and sell them for money? Simply too evil!

And yet it only made Yunhai Shuku more terrified still. These people truly were capable of anything at all.

In fact, this whole scene had been deliberately arranged by Little Mule, for the sole purpose of frightening Yunhai Shuku. Otherwise, if people died every single day, and he had to be consulted over every death, it would have worked Little Mule to death.

"Yunhai Shuku, five days, did you hear me? If you can't scrape the money together in five days, then get ready to go up in the ring!" Little Mule waved him off with some impatience. "You can get lost now. And don't go nursing any ideas about running off. I'll have men watching your home in secret."

Yunhai Shuku's body gave a shudder. He had indeed thought of running! If he could not afford to provoke them, could he not at least hide from them? He figured he would give up the grocery store here too, take his wife and child and leave Songshan City overnight, and hide away somewhere else to start over.

But such a plan was impossible now. Yunhai Shuku sighed. He could only go home first and think of something there.

He truly regretted it now. He never should have listened to the butcher's sweet talk and come to watch some underground boxing match — and even more, he never should have let his heart be stirred by that pie in the sky that could never fall into his hands.

Yunhai Shuku stumbled out of the arena. Little Mule watched his receding back, and a cold sneer slid across the corner of his mouth.

In the blink of an eye Friday came around. These past few days Wei Zhao had been driving Tang Zhi and Feng Xiaoxiao to and from school, and he had gradually grown used to this way of life.

Xie Yufeng seemed to have quieted down a great deal. Ever since Wu Chengtian had given him a beating, Xie Yufeng had become much more low-key as a whole. He made no moves, and Wei Zhao could not be bothered with him.

Watching Xie Yufeng, who had spent days stirring up trouble only to end up with a bruised and swollen face again and again, Zhong Yongliang let a cold sneer slide across the corner of his mouth. What a fucking idiot — he hadn't even figured out his opponent's level, and still he was leaping and prancing about. This time he'd taken a loss for it, hadn't he?

Zhong Yongliang was now a cunning, underhanded schemer with brains. On the surface he showed nothing, but in truth he had all along been quietly watching the conflict between Xie Yufeng and Wei Zhao.

"Brother Liang, that Xie Yufeng seems to be finished, doesn't he? He's gone quiet?" Gao Xiaofu had naturally been keeping an eye on Xie Yufeng as well.

"Hmph, a fool. Pay him no mind." Zhong Yongliang felt that a man like Xie Yufeng was no longer in his weight class. The next thing Zhong Yongliang intended to do was fight at a higher level; he would not be trotting out middle-school-level tricks anymore.

Feng Xiaoxiao was very happy and very excited today, because Wei Zhao had promised to take her racing tonight!

So all through class she was in a state of high excitement, her face flushed and glowing, breaking into cheer after cheer, which left Wei Zhao's thoughts straying restlessly.

Though she and Wei Zhao were boyfriend and girlfriend, in reality, most of the time, Wei Zhao and Feng Xiaoxiao treated each other with mutual respect and courtesy.
