"Forget it, then. We'll think of something else!" Zhong Yongliang was equally at a loss.
When the last class of the morning ended and the lunch break was about to begin, Wei Zhao finally stood up and made to leave the classroom. Feng Xiaoxiao was overjoyed at the sight. She hurriedly signaled to Zhong Yongliang and dialed his number: "You go on ahead and clear all the other boys out of the restroom! I don't want to walk in and find someone else doing their business in there!" Receiving his instructions, Zhong Yongliang immediately took Gao Xiaofu and headed for the restroom ahead of Wei Zhao. They had to clear everyone out before Wei Zhao arrived—otherwise, if Feng Xiaoxiao walked into the men's room later and there was still someone inside, she would definitely be upset!
"Everybody out, everybody out! Get lost, all of you, now!" Zhong Yongliang didn't dare say a word to Wei Zhao, but with these students he was thoroughly overbearing. It took him only a few words before everyone in the restroom scattered...
But there are exceptions to everything. A boy with a cigarette dangling from his lips stepped out of one of the stalls and glared at Zhong Yongliang. "Hey, Liangzi, you're quite the big shot, aren't you? I'm in here smoking, and you go and drag me out?"
The one who emerged was none other than Zou Ruoming. Others might fear Zhong Yongliang, but he did not. Having been disturbed by Zhong Yongliang, he was immediately annoyed.
On any ordinary day, Zhong Yongliang really wouldn't have dared to clash head-on with Zou Ruoming, but today was different. After Zou Ruoming finished speaking, Zhong Yongliang merely curled his lip and said, "Brother Ming, Xiaoxiao has some business to take care of here in a bit. Don't say I didn't warn you—if you're willing to be a nuisance here, then stay."
"What? Xiaoxiao has business here?" Zou Ruoming was stunned. The cigarette fell from his lips with a plop onto the floor, and he didn't even bother to pick it up. "Why didn't you say so earlier?"
With that, he dashed out of the restroom without another word to Zhong Yongliang.
Watching Zou Ruoming's retreating back, Zhong Yongliang smirked, borrowing the tiger's ferocity to cow the fox. Soon the restroom was completely empty. Zhong Yongliang and Gao Xiaofu stood at the doorway, one on each side, like a pair of door gods. Anyone who came to use the restroom was stopped by Zhong Yongliang and Gao Xiaofu.
When Wei Zhao reached the restroom entrance and saw Zhong Yongliang and Gao Xiaofu standing on either side, he was somewhat puzzled. "What are you two doing?"
"Nothing, nothing—we're just waiting for someone here..." Zhong Yongliang hastily replied with fawning deference. "Boss Lin, you need the restroom? Welcome, please come in!"
Wei Zhao frowned. What was wrong with those two? Even so, he stepped into the restroom. There was no one inside, and Wei Zhao instinctively grew more wary. Zhong Yongliang and Gao Xiaofu were a pair of no-good scoundrels, both of them. They had been waiting outside the restroom door, so what could they be up to?
"Hey, how's it going? Did he go in?" Feng Xiaoxiao had followed Wei Zhao to the restroom entrance, treading on his heels the whole way, except that she had hung back a little for fear he would notice he was being tailed, so she had not actually seen Wei Zhao walk into the restroom.
"Little sister Xiaoxiao, he's inside. The others in there have already been cleared out, so you can go in without worry. We'll keep watch for you!" Zhong Yongliang pounded his chest in assurance.
