"Hold on—" Gao Yang grabbed her arm before she could enter the Shadow Realm. "Take me with you."
Amber froze, suddenly recalling the horrifying experience of coming face to face with the flesh of a god the last time they had entered the Shadow Realm in the ruins laboratory. A cold sweat broke out over her, and she hastily clutched Gao Yang's arm. "Then you'd better walk in front when we get there!"
Gao Yang looked at the half-elf who had suddenly turned cowardly, torn between laughter and tears, and waved his hand. "Come on, let's go."
Amber took a deep breath, steadied her nerves, and then activated her innate shadow-affinity ability.
