"It means that the void attribute within my body—five of its types have turned into solid attributes," Wei Zhao explained. "The five types: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. But the ice type and the mist type did not."

"Yes, it was during the trial..." Wei Zhao did not conceal anything, and recounted in detail to Chief Bai everything that had happened during the trial. Though he omitted such things as Tianchan's coquettishness, Chief Bai could still tell how special Tianchan was toward Wei Zhao!

After hanging up, Wei Zhao turned his head and saw Yang Qiqi gazing at him with a resentful look. Although his account of the matter with Tianchan had been very plain, even Chief Bai had caught the problem in it—so how could Yang Qiqi have failed to notice that faint hint of something more between Tianchan and Wei Zhao?

"Then... Little Seven will not ask..." Yang Qiqi said weakly, watching Wei Zhao's expression and guessing something in her heart. In her mind there was no notion of one husband to one wife, for her own father had several wives, and no one had ever deliberately instilled such ideas into her as a child. She was merely jealous by instinct, but since Wei Zhao did not wish to answer, she did not press him, afraid that asking too much would displease him and spoil the joy of their first meeting.

"Eh?" Wei Zhao was rather startled by her answer. He had not expected Yang Qiqi to simply let the matter drop, and it surprised him.

"So long as Little Seven is in Brother Ah Yi's heart, Little Seven is content..." Yang Qiqi did not want to lose the happiness of this long-awaited reunion, and so she did not even dare to ask too much about Tianchan's identity, fearing that Wei Zhao would grow angry over it.

Wei Zhao smiled wryly and said, "Actually, it is nothing much. You could only call us fairly good friends. If you want to hear about it, I will tell you."

"No need." Yang Qiqi shook her head. "My mother says a girl should not pry into such things—it is better not to. I do not want Brother Ah Yi to dislike me."
