Chapter 611 — Stuffing Xiaoshu Stupid

The Blossom Guardian

"Huh? But Sister Yaoyao, I'm already full..." Shen Yushu said, clutching her belly.

"No you're not. Eat a little more. Your chest is too small — you need to make it bigger!" Gu Mengyao glared at Shen Yushu and gave her a meaningful look.

Shen Yushu had no idea what Sister Yaoyao was up to, but seeing how badly she wanted her to keep eating, she could only get up and go serve herself more food. Gu Mengyao, however, beat her to it — she dashed into the kitchen and piled all the remaining rice and stir-fried dishes onto Shen Yushu's plate.

"Huh? That's so much..." Shen Yushu was startled.

"Hurry up and eat. You're at the age where you're still growing — you have to eat more!" After saying this, Gu Mengyao saw that Shen Yushu wasn't picking up her chopsticks, so she lowered her voice and whispered in her ear: "If you're a good girl, I'll let you be my little wife someday!"

"Oh, okay, then I'll eat." Shen Yushu perked up again at this, and so she made a difficult decision — she picked up her chopsticks and began, with great difficulty, to eat.

Wei Zhao watched, dumbstruck, as Shen Yushu slowly but surely demolished every last bit of food. Speechless, he stood up. It looked like his plan to bring Tang Zhi a meal had gone up in smoke.

By the time Shen Yushu finished everything, she couldn't even stand up anymore. She collapsed onto the sofa and didn't move a muscle. Wei Zhao said a word to the Young Miss, then went off to the hospital to visit Tang Zhi.

And Gu Mengyao had no reason to stop Wei Zhao — in fact, she had no way to stop him.

Tang Zhi was overjoyed to see Wei Zhao appear in her hospital room, lively and full of vigor. She had been worried about his injuries, but now it seemed nothing was wrong with him at all.

"You came?" Tang Zhi ran over from the hospital bed in delight.

"Mm. Are you feeling better?" Wei Zhao wanted to embrace Tang Zhi, but she shyly dodged away.

"I'm fine now. My forehead doesn't hurt at all..." Tang Zhi had dodged Wei Zhao's embrace earlier, and afraid he might be upset, she explained in a small voice: "This is a hospital room, and there are so many people around. If my mom comes by and sees us, that wouldn't be good..."

"Heh heh..." Wei Zhao smiled. "I actually made food at home earlier and wanted to bring you some, but Shen Yushu ate it all."

"Mm..." What Tang Zhi wanted wasn't a meal but Wei Zhao's thoughtfulness. So long as Wei Zhao was thinking of her, she was happy. She wanted to ask what exactly the relationship between Wei Zhao and Gu Mengyao was, but she couldn't bring herself to say it — she was afraid Wei Zhao would think she was being petty.

After one peaceful night, the bold Tang Zhi had long since reverted to her old self. Without Gu Mengyao there to egg her on, she found it hard to make those daring moves. Even now, thinking back on it made her feel embarrassed and shy. That person from yesterday — was that really her?

"Actually, I transferred to Songshan City at the request of an elder, to come here and look after Gu Mengyao. You could say it's my job." Before Tang Zhi could even ask, Wei Zhao began to explain. Sooner or later he would have to tell Tang Zhi all of this anyway — it was only a matter of when. Now that she had already met the Young Miss, Wei Zhao told Tang Zhi everything he could: "On my very first day after transferring here, I moved into Gu Mengyao's villa. In the past she rarely interfered in my personal affairs, but yesterday she probably got angry because I didn't tell her in advance before going to get revenge for you..."

Wei Zhao explained his relationship with the Young Miss to Tang Zhi, holding nothing back. After all, there was nothing in all this that needed hiding, and Wei Zhao's attitude was to speak the plain truth.

"Oh... I see!" After hearing Wei Zhao's detailed explanation, Tang Zhi felt much more at ease. After all, Wei Zhao had said before that this was his job — that his main purpose in coming to Songshan City was to look after that Young Miss, Gu Mengyao.

"Yeah. Now that you know the truth, are you angry?" Wei Zhao asked.

"When have I ever been that petty? This is your job — how could I interfere?" Though Tang Zhi said this, she still felt a little uncomfortable inside. After all, Wei Zhao was living under the same roof as two beauties, Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu. How could Tang Zhi possibly not care at all?

"It'll be better once I start university and have a dorm," Wei Zhao said.

"Mm... Oh, right. Yesterday, they said you'd kissed them both, and even touched them..." Tang Zhi grew a little embarrassed as she said this. She paused, then continued: "And that you even do th... threesomes a lot?"

"..." Wei Zhao was somewhat at a loss for words. "A threesome? How could that be? If I really were having threesomes with them, would they still let me meet with you?"

"That's true!" Tang Zhi wasn't stupid. If Wei Zhao really were having threesomes with the Young Miss and Xiaoshu every day, they'd surely be keeping him on a short leash — how would they ever let him meet with her?

"And what about that kiss, and touching them?" Tang Zhi could not help asking again.

"Didn't I already tell you... Gu Mengyao drank from the drink I had already drunk from, so that counts as an indirect kiss..." Wei Zhao smiled bitterly. "As for Shen Yushu, she was drowning, so I gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. And as for touching her, that happened during the resuscitation too..."

"Is that really how it was?" Though Tang Zhi asked, in truth she already believed Wei Zhao.

"It really is." Wei Zhao nodded.

"Then can the gauze on my head come off now?" Tang Zhi asked.

"Huh?" Wei Zhao was taken aback. Tang Zhi's mind certainly jumped around a lot, didn't it? A moment ago she had been asking about him and the eldest Miss, and now she was suddenly concerned about the gauze on her head?

How could Wei Zhao know that Tang Zhi was desperate to find out whether her face had been disfigured? If it truly had been, Tang Zhi was afraid she would not stand a chance against Gu Mengyao! Though Tang Zhi did not say it aloud, a woman's sixth sense faintly told her that Gu Mengyao's behavior toward Wei Zhao was not quite as simple as Wei Zhao claimed — that she had only gone to take revenge without reporting back to him!

Yesterday at Fatty Lai's villa, Gu Mengyao's conduct could plainly be understood as jealousy over a rival in love! Of course, Wei Zhao had not said so, and Tang Zhi would not bring it up again either.

"It should be fine now. Let me unwrap it and take a look," Wei Zhao said, reaching out to undo the gauze on Tang Zhi's head.

Tang Zhi lowered her head, somewhat eagerly awaiting the moment the gauze came off and the state of her forehead.

"Heh..." Wei Zhao looked at Tang Zhi's smooth forehead and could not help letting out a breath of relief. Though he had great confidence in the medicine he had prepared himself, this concerned Tang Zhi after all, and he had still been a little nervous.

"How is it?" Tang Zhi asked anxiously.

"Just look in the mirror and you'll know," Wei Zhao said with a smile.
