"Ha... I know him." Wei Zhao smiled. "He is just a playboy. Pay him no mind."

Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu, having finished picking out their review materials, went to the medical section to look for Wei Zhao — and there they saw him talking with Guan Xin.

"What is he doing?" Gu Mengyao was about to explode with fury. How was it that the moment she took her eyes off him, Wei Zhao was off philandering again? They had only come to a bookshop to buy books — were pretty girls to be found even here?

"Arrow-brand Bro is picking up girls!" Shen Yushu looked carefully, then said, "Very pretty, too — no worse than Sister Yao Yao!"

"What did you say?" Gu Mengyao ground her teeth in rage. "What do you mean, 'no worse than me'? This Wei Zhao — he will be the death of me! Must he chase after every woman he sees, or will he simply die otherwise?"

Wei Zhao had just finished speaking with Guan Xin and was about to look at his book when Gu Mengyao's shout gave him a start.

"Who... who are they?" Guan Xin was startled as well, staring in some alarm at Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu — two girls pretty beyond words, yet fierce enough to frighten anyone.

"My employers..." Wei Zhao shrugged and gave a bitter smile. "I have to go back. See you next time."

"Ah..." Guan Xin was rather puzzled. How could Wei Zhao have employers? Was he not in business together with Grandfather? And yet, from the look of it, he seemed to be the follower of two young ladies. What on earth was going on?

Yet puzzled as she was, Guan Xin did not press further — she was not a girl given to asking too many questions. She merely nodded and said, "Mm, all right. Come to my house one day. Grandfather keeps asking when you will be able to come."

"All right, I will find some time to pay a visit," Wei Zhao nodded.

"Then let Grandfather know in advance, and I will have a meal ready for you!" Guan Xin said, a little embarrassed.

"All right. See you next time." Wei Zhao had no idea what madness had gotten into the young lady this time, and he hurried over.

"Wei Zhao, it's because you left your post that my wallet got stolen. What do you have to say for yourself?" Gu Mengyao glared at Wei Zhao. "Hurry up and bring the thief to justice!"

"Didn't you want the thief brought to justice? I've caught her for you. Shall we send her to the police station?" Wei Zhao asked, smiling.

"Hah... now that the thief's been found, let's go back and eat." Wei Zhao smiled and said nothing more. Sometimes the young lady was even more adorable than Xiaoshu — imagine dreaming up such a ridiculous scheme.

After they got home at noon, Wei Zhao went off to cook, while Gu Mengyao glared at Shen Yushu with the look of one whose high hopes had been thoroughly disappointed. "Honestly, you can't even act. You were found out just like that!"

"Sister Yao, it's not my fault either. The wallet just slipped out on its own..." Shen Yushu said meekly.
