Chapter 198 — The Butterfly Transformation Convention Begins

After people and pet beasts live together for a long time, they come to carry each other's aura. Different beastmasters, and different pet beasts, all have their own distinct auras, and some pet beasts are extremely sensitive to such auras.

Sometimes, pet beasts with powerful perception could even use it to judge a person's good or evil—to judge whether he was beloved by pet beasts, or whether he was enslaving them as tools.

Shi Ying—Buggy—had previously sensed on Hua Che an aura that made her easily approachable by butterfly-type creatures.

So sometimes, the butterflies of this forest would occasionally stand in for the Butterfly God and expel certain trash beastmasters unworthy of the Butterfly God's blessing.

Not long after Shi Yan and Miao Dongdong entered, a flock of Wind Crystal Butterflies suddenly appeared before their eyes.

A flock of Wind Crystal Butterflies wouldn't be strong in combat, but upon seeing them now, Miao Dongdong grew tense beside Shi Jin.

At that moment, the flock of Wind Crystal Butterflies was dancing ahead, and Miao Dongdong was extremely nervous.

He was terrified that this flock of Wind Crystal Butterflies would launch an attack on them.

Then they'd be stuck—fighting was no good, and running was no good either.

Yet at that moment, Shi Jin, who possessed telepathy, listened to the message the Wind Crystal Butterflies were conveying and said in surprise: "What? You want to lead the way for us?"

"Sha sha sha~~~" The Wind Crystal Butterflies nodded. From Shi Jin, they sensed the aura of a king, and felt a sense of heartfelt submission.

They hoped Shi Jin would have a fine harvest at this Metamorphosis Assembly and be noticed by the Butterfly God.

"Thanks." Shi Yan looked at this flock of adorable Wind Crystal Butterflies. Good heavens—was it Buggy's perfect-tier Intimidation taking effect? But Buggy hadn't even come out...

"By the way, why were you so nervous just now? They're all pretty friendly, and they're even leading the way. I heard this place was hard to cross." Shi Qi said to Miao Dongdong.

Miao Dongdong: ?????
