"What?" Wei Zhao was stunned. He hadn't expected the local thugs here to be so brazen—daring to drug Sun Jingyan right in the hotel restaurant. What were they after? Were they lusting after her beauty, planning to drug her and take advantage, or were they trying to abduct her?
"Wait for me. I'll be right back. Don't come out of the restroom..." Wei Zhao said at once.
"All right... Ah! What are you doing? How did you get in?" From the other end of the line came Sun Jingyan's voice, suddenly shocked and furious. Then the phone seemed to be snatched away—there was a "smack," and then nothing.
"Jingyi!" Wei Zhao's heart lurched. The thugs' brazenness exceeded even his expectations—when the drugging failed, they had actually stormed into the restroom to snatch her!

"A friend of mine is at a hotel. She was drugged, ran into the restroom, and those thugs went in after her," Wei Zhao said briefly.
"Oh? Which hotel?" Big Feng asked.
"Which hotel?" Wei Zhao frowned—he actually hadn't kept the name in mind. He had simply asked the taxi driver to recommend a somewhat luxurious large hotel. Wei Zhao remembered only the address, not the name: "Number 1 Miluo Road—what hotel is that?"
"Uh... it's on our way. We're headed there too..." Big Feng said with a bitter smile. "That's the Fire Wolf Hotel, one of the largest luxury hotels in the city, and also the headquarters of the Red Conch in Qingrun City."

"What—you know?" From Big Feng's tone, Wei Zhao gathered that he seemed to know the hidden circumstances behind Sun Jingyan's abduction.

"You're saying they took my lady friend to send to the drug-refining base?" Wei Zhao frowned, his expression somewhat grim.
