"Ah, you're right!" Gao Xiaofu nodded. "But Paozi said this drug is unbelievably potent. Even if Shen Yushu is willing, Gu Mengyao definitely won't be. When Wei Zhao has them both at once — snap snap — we take our pictures and the fun begins!"
"Exactly. Xiaofu, you've gotten a lot smarter lately!" Zhong Yongliang nodded approvingly.
On the way back to his room, Wei Zhao increasingly sensed something was wrong. A wave of burning heat was spreading through his entire body! And judging from his medical expertise, this was certainly not a sign of having drunk too much wine — it was... he seemed to have been dosed with some kind of aphrodisiac!

"Not good!" Wei Zhao thought to himself, cursing his carelessness. The problem must have been in that cup of wine!
The only thing Wei Zhao could think of was the wine. But at the time he had deliberately inspected its quality — there should have been no drug in it. What's more, just to be safe, he had made Zhong Yongliang and Gao Xiaofu each drink a cup as well. That was the only reason he dared to drink it himself!
He had never expected that these two would willingly risk being poisoned themselves just to get him to drink. So what was their real objective?
Glancing at the lovely Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu beside him, Wei Zhao roughly guessed Zhong Yongliang's scheme. Presumably he wanted Wei Zhao to forcibly have his way with Gu Mengyao or Shen Yushu, and then use the scandal to ruin Wei Zhao's reputation — or Gu Mengyao's.

At Zhang Naipao's side, Zhong Yongliang could not touch Wei Zhao, and with no other means at his disposal for the time being, tripping Wei Zhao up like this was not a bad choice!

"Master Lin! What are your instructions!" Zou Ruoming had been sound asleep at home when his phone rang. He had no intention of answering — he was about to pick it up and hang up when he caught sight of Wei Zhao's name on the caller ID. The sight jolted him wide awake in sheer panic, and he snatched up the phone in haste!
A lingering chill ran down his spine. Had he hung up that call, he and the entire Zou family would almost certainly have paid a terrible price!
