"What is it?" Feng Xiaoxiao asked, a little puzzled.
"Look at the transom over our heads..." Shen Yushu said, her expression odd as she pointed upward.
"What about the transom?" Feng Xiaoxiao raised her head in confusion—and got the fright of her life. For there, pressed flat against the outside of the transom, was a person! Only, a security grille covered the outside, so no one could poke their head in through it.
"Xie Yufeng?" Feng Xiaoxiao recognized him at once—the new transfer student from yesterday! She was instantly furious. "He looks so decent, but he's this much of a pervert? Peeping on girls during training?"
"Yeah, but we've caught him!" A gleam of excitement lit Shen Yushu's face.
Catching her look, Feng Xiaoxiao nodded in understanding. No words were needed between them; they quietly got to their feet and slipped toward the equipment storeroom beside the gym. The PE teacher had unlocked it earlier to fetch medicine balls and other training gear and hadn't locked it again—after all, the balls had to be put back after class. And during a lesson, it would never occur to him that anyone might sneak into the storeroom!
What Shen Yushu and Feng Xiaoxiao were actually after was a suitable set of pranking tools. The gym storeroom was vast and crammed with all manner of things: besides sports training equipment, it also held athletic uniforms and school security guards' uniforms and the like...
"Heh heh!" Shen Yushu dug a few pairs of ice skates and spiked shoes off a shelf and broke into a grin.
Feng Xiaoxiao glanced at the weapons in her hands, and the corners of her mouth curled up too. "You want them to fall and land on these?"
"Yep, but how do we make them fall?" Shen Yushu nodded, then frowned over the difficulty.
Feng Xiaoxiao's eyes swept the storeroom, and suddenly landed on something. She dashed over, snatched it up, and waved it triumphantly. "Leave this to me—let them taste a stun baton!"
In her hand was a stun baton! It was the kind the school guards carried on night patrol, and naturally there were spares—just like the uniforms—stored in the storeroom.
"Then let's split up and move!" Shen Yushu felt that Feng Xiaoxiao was simply born to be her partner in crime. This time, Xie Yufeng and his friends were done for!
"No problem!" Feng Xiaoxiao raised her right hand.
Shen Yushu understood and raised her own hand to slap it. "Here's to total victory! After I set the trap, I'll crouch under the transom next to theirs and meow like a cat—then you zap them down!"
With that, Shen Yushu gathered an armful of spiked shoes, ice skates, and the like, and ran out of the gym through the storeroom's back door, while Feng Xiaoxiao, stun baton in hand, took up position beneath the transom next to the one Xie Yufeng was at.
This spot was basically a blind corner in the dark. Unless Xie Yufeng deliberately looked straight down, he couldn't possibly see anyone on the seats below—and this time Feng Xiaoxiao was under the neighboring transom, making her even harder to spot.
Xie Yufeng, Li Panghu, and Wang Congming had all climbed up onto the wire mesh over one of the transoms. The mesh was fairly high, but with Xie Yufeng's true qi to help, Li Panghu and Wang Congming were hauled up with ease.
"Found her? How come I don't see Feng Xiaoxiao?" Xie Yufeng had been watching for ages and still hadn't caught sight of her. He muttered to himself, puzzled, "Don't tell me the girl skipped class?"
"Yeah, I don't see her either—but I do see Gu Mengyao! Only she's wearing shorts and kept her top on, so there's nothing worth looking at!" Wang Congming said with some regret.
"And I don't see that big-breasted girl Shen Yushu either!" Li Panghu said lecherously. "Every time I think about her chest, I can't sleep!"
