Ma Bilin would be feeling that one for a while; whether he could still perform his manly functions was anyone's guess. Brother Lei's expression darkened at once.
"Good. Very good. Spicy — but I like it!" The way Brother Lei's eyes fell on Shen Yushu was brimming with lecherous desire to conquer.
"Let's just call it a day," Wei Zhao said evenly, glancing at Brother Lei. "I'm in a good mood, so I won't do anything to you. We won't be coming here again. What do you say?" There was a condescending charity in his gaze — because in Wei Zhao's eyes, this man truly amounted to nothing.
Since Shen Yushu had already taught them a lesson, Wei Zhao had no intention of dragging things out with them any further. Today was supposed to be a celebration, and he didn't want a few nobodies to ruin the mood.
"Huh?" Brother Lei was stunned for a moment, then burst out laughing, looking at Wei Zhao as though he were an idiot! And Ma Bilin, still doubled over and squatting on the floor, couldn't help laughing too — laughing gleefully, as if he had forgotten his pain altogether.
"Arrow Brand Brother, have they lost their minds?" Shen Yushu looked at Brother Lei and Ma Bilin with a peculiar expression. How could a person suddenly laugh so gleefully? Had they been traumatized or something?
"Xiaoshu!" Gu Mengyao signaled for Shen Yushu not to say anything reckless at a time like this. Shen Yushu's kick earlier had complicated matters; who knew whether this could end peacefully now. Gu Mengyao didn't want to waste time tangling with these people — she had genuinely wanted to treat Tang Zhi to a meal.
"Oh, I get it!" Shen Yushu suddenly cried in dawning realization. "They're thrilled because Arrow Brand Brother said he'd let them off, so they're dying of happiness — that's why they're laughing so hard!"
Gu Mengyao, Wei Zhao, and Tang Zhi all had to fight back smiles at Shen Yushu's words. But Wei Zhao and Gu Mengyao were already used to her; only now did Tang Zhi truly understand what Gu Mengyao had meant in the car — that was simply Shen Yushu's nature, and once you spent enough time with her, you'd understand.
She really was a joyful girl, cheerful at all times, without the slightest hint of tension!
"Little girl, your lame joke isn't funny!" Brother Lei clapped his hands. "Today, none of you are leaving!"
Just as Brother Lei clapped, a group of burly men in black suits came running over quickly and encircled Wei Zhao and the others in a ring. The leader, a man with a scarred face, turned respectfully to Brother Lei. "Brother Lei, what now?"
"Cripple the man and throw him out. Knock the women out and keep them." A vicious light came into Brother Lei's face. His own Western restaurant had been smashed up — if word of this got out, he wouldn't be able to show his face in this business again!
"Ooh, the reinforcements have arrived. The villains in cartoons always do this after they get hit, too. But do you know what happens when you do that?" Shen Yushu suddenly asked.
The whole lobby of the Western restaurant had been thick with tension, but after that one remark from Shen Yushu, everyone's faces took on a strange expression, and the atmosphere was suddenly not so tense anymore!
Wasn't this girl afraid? With so many people standing there, how did she still have the presence of mind to say such bizarre things?
"Little girl, you've got quite a nice chest. I like it." Brother Lei glanced at Shen Yushu and licked his lips. "I can tell you the consequence — you're going to become my plaything!"
