Yu Dafa carried the bucket up to Wei Zhao and Tang Zhi: "Boss, sister-in-law, the water's here!"
"And you are?" Wei Zhao looked at Yu Dafa, puzzled. This person—he didn't know him. Where had he come from?
"Boss, my name is Yu Dafa, I'm the top dog of the twelfth grade. Of course, compared with Boss Wei Zhao, I'm nothing at all!" Yu Dafa introduced himself.
"Oh." Wei Zhao nodded. "All right, I understand. You can go now. Thank you!"
"Don't mention it, boss. If you ever need anything, come find me anytime—I'm in Class Ten of the twelfth grade!" Yu Dafa said with the utmost deference.
Tang Zhi hadn't expected that a villain like Yu Dafa would come pledge his loyalty to Wei Zhao too. It struck her as baffling—and what embarrassed her most was that he had actually called her "Sister-in-law" as well! Tang Zhi still remembered the love letter Yu Dafa had written her, how nauseatingly explicit it had been, and now in the blink of an eye he had turned cringing and servile.
All of it—was it because of Wei Zhao? This boy who had transferred in less than a month ago.
"I... I'm heading back. I still have windows to wipe!" Tang Zhi picked up the bucket from the ground and said to Wei Zhao and Kang Xiaofeng.
"Mm, go ahead," Wei Zhao nodded, and he and Kang Xiaofeng returned to the classroom as well.
Zhong Yongliang, sure enough, obediently moved his seat over to Gao Xiaofu's side, into a corner of the classroom, far away from Wei Zhao—evidently he truly feared Wei Zhao would turn him into a flying trapeze artist.
"Yao Yao, I think Brother Arrow Brand is just too handsome!" Shen Yushu tugged at Gu Mengyao's arm. "Look at Zhong Yongliang—one scare from him and he moved away. Now you'll never have to worry about being harassed again!"
"Yeah, he's so handsome—why don't you let him cop a feel of your boobs?" Gu Mengyao curled her lip.
"Yao Yao, don't tell me you're jealous? How about next time you let him feel you up too?" Shen Yushu asked with a grin.
"I'm not an idiot!" Gu Mengyao glared at Shen Yushu. "Is he my boyfriend? What right does he have to touch me? If you're willing to be felt up, then you go!"
"Oh—Brother Arrow Brand accepted my confession, so he counts as my boyfriend, right?" Shen Yushu mused to herself. "Then letting him feel me up once wouldn't be a loss either. Mm, that settles it..." Gu Mengyao was truly about to be driven mad by Shen Yushu. Was there a screw loose in this best friend's head? Who on earth acted like her?
Early Saturday morning, Wei Zhao was shaken awake by Shen Yushu. "Brother Arrow Brand, get up quick—today we're going to the amusement park!"
Amusement park? Only then did Wei Zhao remember that he had promised the young lady and Little Shu to go bungee jumping. Still groggy, he crawled out of bed, washed up, and dressed in fresh clothes. When he came out of his room, he found that Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu were already ready.
"You drive Little Shu's Beetle and follow behind us. Little Shu and I will ride in my car!" Gu Mengyao glanced at Wei Zhao and instructed him.
"Okay..." Wei Zhao thought to himself that it would be better to drive that beat-up van Black Panther had scrounged up—everyone could fit in it, so why take two cars? But then again, aside from that one kidnapping, the young lady had probably never ridden in such a clunker.
