Chapter 541 — Su Su and Ya Ya's Epic Enhancement

"The Star Sea Covenant permits the infinite mobilization of Starry Sky energy only on the condition that one takes the protection of the Starry Sky environment as one's duty, and it amplifies one's own purification-type skills."
"Just now, Susu used the Star Sea Covenant to strengthen its Origin Fluctuation and help you purge and erase every negative state, Master. In all likelihood, that counts as something outside the 'covenant.'"
"Ning!" Susu nodded. The moment the purification had finished, it had felt it—its compatibility with the Star Sea Covenant had dropped somewhat.
There was no real effect for now, but if this went on long-term, it would absolutely become a problem.
As the saying went, when faith is lost, a covenant dissolves of its own accord. The Star Sea Covenant was stronger, but its restrictions seemed greater as well.
"That's such a scam," Shi Huan could not help but say.
Lin said, "It seems the Starry Sky faith's binding upon its user is greater than the Blue Star ocean faith's binding upon its user."
"In that case, doesn't it mean that from now on, whenever Susu brings the power of the Star Sea Covenant to bear against enemies who aren't of the Abyss or the Fallen Race and the like, it'll all be affected?" said Shi Li.
Lin said, "That's most likely correct, but there's probably no need to worry too much. So long as Susu strives to protect the Starry Sky environment in the days to come, its authority to mobilize the Star Sea's power should gradually grow."
"Right now it has only just signed a covenant with the Star Sea. It must still count as a fresh rookie, so it's only natural that it has some restrictions."
"Ning!!" Susu nodded, endorsing Lin's words. So long as it worked hard to protect the Starry Sky environment, the power the Star Sea Covenant fed back to it would surely grow greater and greater.
"Mm…"
"That's just as well…" said Shi Li. "It doesn't matter. Now that it's gained the power, it's only right that it fulfill the duty."
"I just wonder whether allocating points to the Star Sea Covenant and raising its covenant level could ease that kind of backlash."
"Susu, unless it's absolutely necessary, don't use the Star Sea Covenant for the time being. Star Sea Covenant paired with Origin Fluctuation really is absurdly effective."
"Still, I imagine that even without strengthening it through the Star Sea Covenant, using Origin Fluctuation on its own wouldn't be much worse."
"Origin Fluctuation on its own, paired with Ginseng Baby to purge and nourish away my weakened state—if we allocate points for efficiency, that should bring it up just the same."
"Ning ning!!" Susu's eyes lit up in agreement. No problem.
"Ya ya!!" Ginseng Baby was taken aback. So it seemed it was laid off—but not completely laid off?
Shi Yi, Chong Chong, Chi Tong, and the others exchanged glances as well.
First they were glad that Susu had grown stronger, glad that the upcoming point allocations could be more efficient—and then they sank into thought.
Even Shi Yi and Chong Chong were starting to feel uneasy. Susu's combo skill was simply too absurd!!!
They really did not want to face Origin Fluctuation…
Even less than they wanted to face Ginseng Baby's self-detonation and revival.
Chi Tong gazed longingly at her good sister. Why did it feel like, despite her own abundant arsenal of moves, there was still a huge risk she would be utterly crushed by Susu?
Hopefully… Chong Chong's theory was correct.
The later one was strengthened, the stronger one became!
……
After Shi Shuo's round of point allocation, Susu was now, like Xiao Ji, reborn anew.
