Chapter 455 — Breaking Through to Legendary

The World Tree's blessing had many effects.
What Shi Jin had often heard about was that it could enhance the comprehension of the contracted pets of the blessed individual, improving the pets' learning ability. In other words, for a beast tamer blessed by the World Tree, their pets might master a low-tier skill in a day, perfect it in two days, and in a month, reach a level where technique approached the Dao itself.
Of course, for Shi Jin, whether this was useful or not was hard to say—it wasn't that useful, but it wasn't entirely useless either.
After all, the point-allocation cap for non-racial skills was still stuck at the transcendent level and couldn't be broken through. To train them further, the pets would have to develop them on their own.
At times like that, if a pet had strong learning ability, it became extremely useful.
Beyond that, the World Tree's blessing also functioned as a meditation accelerator, allowing a beast tamer to reach the legendary level in a very short span of time.
Lin You had said that when she participated in the World Tournament, she was merely an ordinary legend, but after becoming champion, it took her only two years to break through two levels in succession and step into the domain of the mythic.
This was still somewhat useful for Jue—after all, he didn't enjoy meditation, but the level of contracted pets was limited by the beast tamer's level. If he could max out quickly, he would be very happy.
At the same time, the World Tree's blessing also made it easier for the blessed individual's contracted pets to break through racial limits and complete evolution, as well as enhancing the beast tamer's various abilities. Its effects were comprehensive and all-encompassing.
These effects were all quite good, but for him, compared to gaining ten extra contract slots, there was simply no comparison!
Doubling one's contract slots might be useless for an ordinary beast tamer—take Yin Huan's father, for instance. As a normal legend, he simply didn't have the resources or opportunities to train so many pets.
But for the current fat cat Shi Jin, he could absolutely afford the resources to train more pets.
What did having more contracted pets mean?
It meant the pets could feed back more attributes to their owner.
And once the beast tamer himself grew stronger, the effects of his beast-taming talent would also become more powerful.
With an ordinary talent, perhaps there wouldn't be any dramatic change, but when applied to the Skill Encyclopedia's point-allocation function, it was a different story.
Think about it carefully—with the attribute feedback from twenty pets, the side effects of point allocation might be reduced to a negligible level.
Although he might need to allocate points for even more pets by then, if it meant he could more easily complete point allocation for super-tier or even divine-tier skills, Shi Jin declared it was no problem at all.
Originally, he had been worried about whether his future physique could withstand point allocation for divine skills, but if he had the feedback from a whole bunch of additional contracted pets, he felt it should be no problem.
Even now, his physique was already extremely strong. He truly didn't know what level his constitution would reach once he had a full roster of contracted pets. This enhancement blessing was crucial!
It might determine whether he could support point allocation or fusion for divine skills in the future.
"No problem."
At this moment, hearing that the World Tree was about to give him an enhancement blessing, Shi Jin agreed immediately. "If I obtain a second beast-taming space..."
"In seven years' time, I'm confident I can raise another team—a second team of mythic-race demigod-level pets."
"When that time comes, if enemies descend upon Blue Star, leave them to me."
"I will crush them one by one."
"I know." The World Tree nodded and said, "I do not doubt your ability."
