Training up a cook was, after all, an investment in a better future.
"Will do." Shi Jin beamed. It wasn't as though he was selling Ginseng Baby out — Ginseng Baby was a mature pet beast now, and it was high time it worked for its own evolution materials.

Shi Jin was thrilled, Buggy was happy on Ginseng Baby's behalf, and Ginseng Baby was in blissful agony.
Previously, Shi Jin had only paid attention to Buggy's evolution materials; he truly hadn't looked much into anything else.

Opening it directly with telekinesis was less trouble than sending Eleven or Ginseng Baby to do it.
The same went for housework — it was very convenient. Buggy could control several cleaning tools at once with its telekinesis, working with great efficiency.
These days, Buggy was already the strongest member of the team, and in domestic matters it was unquestionably the team's number one.

One was the president of the Battle Club, the beast-eared girl Bai Xi.
The other was the old headmaster of Gu Du University, who had until now existed only in the background.
"Grandpa Feng, you came too?" Bai Xi had run over to find Shi Jin and was quite surprised to run into the old headmaster.
"Am I not allowed?" The old headmaster chuckled, stroking his white beard.
"Of course you are, of course you are." Bai Xi gave a small nod and a smile.
"Do you have business with Shi Jin? If so, I can leave first and come back for him later."
"No need. I'll just chat about everyday matters for a bit and then be on my way — nothing important. Let's go in together."
As the two were talking, the door opened on its own.
But when they looked, there was no one at the doorway at all; the door seemed to have opened by itself.
"Please come in!!" Yet a shout came from inside a moment later.
By then Shi Jin had already gotten off the sofa, put on his shoes, and come over to welcome them.
The two who had just reached the door were struck dumb on the spot.
Bai Xi... and who's the other one, the old chancellor of the Ancient Capital University?
