As the title says, I've had severe insomnia for the past half month, especially recently—I can only fall asleep at five or six in the morning every day. Even if I toss my phone away and just lie there, I can't sleep, and then after dozing a bit I jolt awake again. My condition is terrible: sleepy by day, wide awake by night, and the poor rest leaves me with no energy for anything. So the day before yesterday and the day before that, I only managed the bare-minimum 4,000-word updates. A friend recommended melatonin to readjust, but the moment I read the comments saying it causes nightmares and impotence, I didn't dare use it...
Today I saw that the big shot "Nothing better to do than read a book, that's fine" tipped a Silver League. Thank you, big shot. After getting up I wanted to put in a heroic effort and grind out chapters, but as I wrote I started feeling dizzy, and even sitting made me uncomfortable, totally drained. I'm truly sorry to the big shot. I've already drafted part of today's update, but I can't push out the rest—I want to rest and readjust, so the update is postponed.
