At this point, Shu Ya could not refuse to drink. She could only raise her glass and drink down the red wine in it.
"Good!" Maligeben immediately called out excitedly. Of course, most of that excitement was because Shu Ya had drunk the knockout drug.
Yang Juehuan's gaze had never left Shu Ya, so naturally he noticed Maligeben and Savengis appear before her once more. But seeing that both men behaved properly, he did not pay them much mind. How could he have imagined that the two still had a scheme afoot?
After Shu Ya finished drinking, she saw that Savengis and Maligeben still had not left, so she asked in some surprise, "Is there something else you two want?"
Maligeben and Savengis were waiting for the drug to take effect. How could they be willing to leave Shu Ya's side? If she collapsed in the hall and someone else got to her first and sent her to the hospital, they would lose their chance.
