Chapter 2612 — The Vicious Little Junior Sister

The Blossom Guardian

"Wang Xinyan, how's Wei Zhao doing? Is anything wrong?" After Wei Zhao left, Bai Lingtou had been feeling uneasy, a sense that something was off. He waited a while, but Wei Zhao never contacted him, so he took the initiative to reach out to Wang Xinyan—after all, Wei Zhao had gone to find her.

"Teacher Bai, Wei Zhao's gotten into a fight with someone, right at the school gate! That bad man uses some terrible martial skill, something like Tornado Heaven and Earth—he whipped up a tornado just like that..." Wang Xinyan said frantically. "What are we going to do? Wei Zhao doesn't seem to be his match—he's been knocked to the ground!"

"What? Tornado Heaven and Earth?" Bai Lingtou shot to his feet, his pupils contracting slightly, his gaze turning sharp as a blade! Could it be them? To come to his own school gate and cause trouble, kidnap his student, and wound Wei Zhao—did they think he didn't exist?

"Yes, I think that's what it's called..." Wang Xinyan nodded, not understanding why Bai Lingtou would ask about that. Right now all she wanted to know was how to help Wei Zhao! Among everyone she knew, Wei Zhao was the strongest. If even Wei Zhao was no match, then whether it was the Pi family or the Han family, or even Wu Chengtian, none of them could possibly stand against this foe.

"I'm coming right over!" Bai Lingtou's voice turned unnaturally cold and furious. "Don't worry—I have a way."

"All right, thank you, Teacher Bai..." Hearing that he had a way, Wang Xinyan's heart immediately eased.

"Thank me for what? You're all my students—of course I'll stand up for you." Bai Lingtou dashed out of the office at top speed. One had to admit, for a man his age, he was hardly slow!

Meanwhile, inside the Xueshang Hotel, Xiao Shiyi was interrogating Han Jingyi about Zhang Lifeng's alchemist's notes.

Han Jingyi had been brought into a hotel room when a basin of cold water was suddenly flung over her. She jolted awake, staring in bewilderment at the strange surroundings before her.

"Where is this?" Han Jingyi glanced around the hotel room in confusion. All she remembered was that she and Wang Xinyan had been on their way to the cafeteria to eat—and then nothing.

"Han Jingyi, is it?" A cold, slightly hoarse female voice rang out, laced with bone-deep chill. "Haven't you noticed that you've been kidnapped?"

"Kidnapped? Who are you? Why would you kidnap Jingjing?" Han Jingyi turned her head, her big, liquid eyes gazing innocently at the woman dressed all in black before her—Xiao Shiyi.

"Enough, cut the cute act. That trick won't work on me!" Xiao Shiyi frowned, silently thanking her luck that she hadn't let Xiao Yi handle the interrogation. This little girl sure knew how to put on a show—still playing cute even after being caught. "You're an alchemist, aren't you?"

"What's an alchemist? Is it something to eat?" Han Jingyi asked curiously.

"You little bitch, don't play dumb with me—I don't buy that act!" Xiao Shiyi cut her off coldly. "If you don't want to suffer, tell me the truth."

"But I really don't know what an alchemist is..." Han Jingyi said innocently.

"You little slut, are you asking for a beating?" Xiao Shiyi raised her hand to strike. "I'll give you one last chance. If you keep spouting nonsense with me, I'll kill you!"

"Oh, if someone who can refine pills is an alchemist, then I suppose I am one." Han Jingyi blinked and said.

"Hmph, so you won't take a toast but you'll drink a forfeit!" Xiao Shiyi snorted and continued. "Who did you learn your alchemy from?"

"My alchemy? I learned it from You Panhu!" Han Jingyi thought for a moment, then said, "My cauldron and everything—he gave them all to me."

"Smack!" "Smack!"

Two sharp cracks—Xiao Shiyi had finally lost patience and slapped Han Jingyi across the face twice, leaving both her cheeks bright red! Xiao Shiyi was a master at the peak of the early Heaven Rank; how could Han Jingyi possibly withstand even two casual slaps?

"Ow, that hurts..." Han Jingyi looked at Xiao Shiyi with grievance, her big liquid eyes on the verge of tears. "Why are you hitting Jingjing?"

"Hit you? If you don't behave, I'll kill you!" Xiao Shiyi's face twisted savagely, a cruel gleam flashing across it. "I don't mind telling you—my specialty is breaking people. If I'd been born in another era, I'd have been the head of the Imperial Guard!"

"What's the Imperial Guard..." Han Jingyi asked, puzzled.

"You little bitch, I know you're trying to stall, waiting for someone to rescue you. But I don't mind telling you—there really is no one who can save you!" Xiao Shiyi said unhurriedly. "Since you won't talk, then I'll play a little rough with you!"

With a flick of her wrist, a box of silver needles dropped into Xiao Shiyi's hand. Deftly she drew one out and, with a casual jab, pierced it straight through Han Jingyi's shoulder blade.

"Ah..." Han Jingyi let out a miserable shriek. "I'll talk, I'll talk—what do you want to know..."

"Hmph, just look at this delicate little face of yours—really a man's delight. But what I hate most in this world is girls prettier than me!" Xiao Shiyi said coldly. "Especially cute little things like you. What I love is jabbing and jabbing at faces like yours, smashing them to bits! Right now it's your shoulder blade—next time it'll be your face. I'll ask again: who did you learn your alchemy from?"

"I... I... I'll tell you the truth, all right? Teacher Bai gave me a beginner's notebook on alchemy, and I just studied it—I picked it up right away." Han Jingyi grimaced. "Could you take the needle out? Jingjing's in so much pain..."

"Take it out? Sure!" A vicious smile flickered at the corner of Xiao Shiyi's mouth. She pressed her hand to the end of the needle and channeled her true qi straight into it! With a crisp crack, Han Jingyi's right shoulder blade was shattered to pieces by the true qi.

"Ah!" Han Jingyi screamed, the pain so intense that beads of sweat rolled down her forehead. "You... you're a Heaven Rank master—you can actually channel true qi into a weapon!"

"That's right, you've got a sharp eye. I am indeed a Heaven Rank master, and this silver needle is my Heaven Rank weapon!" Xiao Shiyi said calmly. "This divine weapon of mine is called the Nine Needles of Fuxi. Even though the set in my hand is an imitation of the divine artifact, when combined with the mental cultivation method of my martial skill, a tiny silver needle is enough to take your life!"

"Oh... that's impressive..." Han Jingyi said through gritted teeth. (To be continued.)
