"Three lovely ladies coming here to dine is a favor to me, Li. Bylin, how could you turn them away at the door?" Brother Lei shot the lobby manager a look of feigned anger and rebuked him.

Ma Bilin was taken aback for a moment, then understood Brother Lei's meaning at once! Brother Lei had probably taken a fancy to these three girls! Heh, and it had to be said, these three were real lookers. Their luck had run out, though — swaggering into Brother Lei's territory like that, weren't they just walking straight into the tiger's mouth?

"My apologies, Brother Lei!" Ma Bilin said hurriedly, deliberately making himself look small to set off Brother Lei's towering stature.

"Three lovely ladies, please, come in, come in! Bilin, what are you waiting for? Prepare a private room!" Brother Lei threw him a meaningful glance.

"No need. We won't be eating here." Gu Mengyao felt uncomfortable under Brother Lei's leering gaze, so she took Shen Yushu's hand and made to leave.

Tang Zhi had said nothing all along. With Wei Zhao here, there was no need for her to speak; she knew Wei Zhao would never let anyone bully her.

"Heh heh, since you've come, why not stay? We've been remiss in our hospitality — how about I personally toast you all and make amends in a moment?" Brother Lei looked at Gu Mengyao with a smile. "And if the ladies are still upset, then today's bill is on me — everything free of charge!"

Brother Lei meant to keep Gu Mengyao, Shen Yushu, and Tang Zhi here. As for Wei Zhao, he hadn't given him a second thought!

He didn't believe Wei Zhao had any deep connection with these three! These girls were obviously all still untouched, so Brother Lei guessed that Wei Zhao was probably just an ordinary friend — or a lecher like himself, with designs on these three beauties!

"Wait — you can't go in!" At Brother Lei's signal, Ma Bilin put out an arm to block Wei Zhao's way and keep him out.

Wei Zhao frowned slightly. It seemed Brother Lei and Ma Bilin had decided to make a big deal of this. Wei Zhao stopped in his tracks, and ahead of him, Gu Mengyao, Shen Yushu, and Tang Zhi stopped as well! If Wei Zhao couldn't go, what was the point of their going?

"Why won't you let him in?" Gu Mengyao frowned too. "Is your word not your bond?"

"I only said I'd let the three lovely ladies in. I never said this young man could come along!" Brother Lei cast Wei Zhao a disdainful glance, then said to the three women, "Never mind him. Ladies, please, go on in!"

"We're not eating here!" Gu Mengyao was furious! This man actually wouldn't let Wei Zhao follow them in? Then what was the point of eating here? Holding back her anger, not wanting Tang Zhi to see her spoiled-tyrant side, she said only mildly, "Let's go, Xiaoshu!"

"Oh..." This time Shen Yushu nodded obediently. If Arrow Bro wasn't allowed in, what fun was a private room by herself? Even if there were novelty toys, who would she play with? So her interest was gone as well.

Tang Zhi naturally stuck with Wei Zhao. If Wei Zhao couldn't go in, what was she staying for? She too turned around, ready to leave.

Shen Yushu drove a kick straight into Ma Bilin's crotch, sending him howling, his eyes rolling back white. He clutched his lower half and dropped into a crouch on the floor, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead.

"Woohoo!" Shen Yushu cried out in delight, flashing a victory sign with her fingers. "Sister Yaoyao, I actually hit it on the first try — he can't even take a hit as well as a shark!"

Shen Yushu had always been the fearless sort, the kind who dared to take on zombies and sharks alike — to say nothing of a lobby manager like Ma Bilin. She simply hadn't expected him to be so fragile that a single kick would leave him crouched on the ground, unable to rise.

In fact, Ma Bilin was not fragile at all — he had simply been caught completely off guard. He had never once believed Shen Yushu could do anything to him. Shen Yushu had wanted a four-person couples' private room; plausible as her reasoning had sounded, it was in truth pure nonsense, and Ma Bilin could hardly be blamed for refusing to provide one.
