Chapter 660 — I Want to Stay with Sister Yaoyao!

Hearing Crippled Wolf's words, the parents were grief-stricken and indignant as well, and one after another they regretted and complained about having sent their children to study at First High School. At the time they had thought First High School the best in the city, never expecting that once their children entered, they had set foot on the road to death!

"Sister Yaoyao will be all right! I want to go see Sister Yaoyao—where is Sister Yaoyao? I'm going!" Shen Yushu suddenly ran toward the door of the emergency room. It was a long, narrow corridor, and at the very end of the emergency room was the infectious disease isolation ward, where several nurses were busy spraying disinfectant nearby. Seeing Shen Yushu come charging in, they were instantly stunned!

"You... what are you doing? You can't come in here! This is the intensive care isolation ward for infectious diseases—get out at once!" The nurse was startled and hurried to stop Shen Yushu from rushing over.

But how could Shen Yushu listen? There was only one thought in her mind now: she could not let anything happen to Sister Yaoyao, and even if something did happen to Sister Yaoyao, she would stay by her side! As for whether it was contagious or not, she no longer cared!

The doctor standing at the door was struck dumb by Shen Yushu's action as well. When he came to his senses, he hastily shouted toward the inside of the pushed-open emergency room door, "Come out, quickly! Don't go in—it's dangerous!"

Shen Yushu paid no heed. Who knew where she found the strength—two nurses could not hold her back—and she had already run to the far end of the emergency room corridor, where she saw a row of isolation rooms, each with a large pane of glass set in its door!

Shen Yushu quickly found the isolation room where Gu Mengyao lay. Ignoring the shouts of the doctors and nurses, she pushed the door open and charged in.

"Sister Yaoyao, Sister Yaoyao, what's wrong? Don't frighten me!" Shen Yushu ran to Gu Mengyao's side, took her hand, and burst into sobs.

With Shen Yushu leading the way, the remaining parents, after a moment's slight hesitation, rushed in after her, each finding the isolation room of their own child and entering!

Faced with such a situation, the hospital's nurses and doctors could only smile bitterly; there was nothing they could do! In truth, they understood these people's behavior—worrying for their children's safety, they had no care left for whether it was contagious or not!

"Since you've gone in, until the isolation is lifted, you'll have to stay inside the hospital!" The doctor stood somewhat helplessly in the emergency room corridor and called out, "Your movements are restricted for the time being as well!"

But the parents did not care in the least. They wanted to stay by their children's sides; even if someone told them to leave now, they would not go!

Gu Pengzhan and Qing Bo had followed them in as well. Gu Pengzhan entered Gu Mengyao's isolation room, and Qing Bo followed him in without the slightest hesitation! From this one could see how utterly loyal Qing Bo was to Gu Pengzhan—he would even risk his own life!

Seeing how firm Shen Yushu was, Gu Pengzhan did not press the matter further.

When Crippled Wolf and the gaggle of reporters saw the parents all filing into the emergency room, they exchanged uneasy glances. Those parents dared to go in, but they certainly did not! An infectious disease was no joke; if you caught it, wouldn't you be done for?
