Chapter 534 — Departure (Blue Star Arc Ends)

"All set?" Lin Shuo knew Shi Tan had been making his farewells over the past two days. Seeing Shi Jin call him now, he understood that he was more or less ready and intended to set off.
"Yeah." Shi Li: "Is Senior Shenyuan nearby?"
"He is," Lin Shuo said.
"Lin Shuo, Senior Shenyuan, do you two have anything else to tell me?" Shi Tang.
"Yes." From the other end came Senior Shenyuan's shout: "If you run into that brat Lin Feng, and he badmouths me, jot it down in a little notebook and bring it back to show me later."
Shi Jin and Lin Shuo: "……"
"Also, he's surely built a family and career over there by now, raising quite a few genius descendants. Don't hold back—show off your talent as much as you can and give him a good shock."
Shi Jin and Lin Shuo: "……"
Lin Shuo: "All right, that's all Senior Shenyuan had to say……"
"No, I wasn't finished..."
"It's not like here once you're over there. Tread carefully," Lin Shuo said at last, and Shi Jin gave a heavy nod.
After bidding farewell to Lin Shuo and Senior Shenyuan, Shi Jin flew one circuit around Blue Star, and finally returned to Inatera. Senior Dragon God was still waiting there; Zilan had already left Inatera for Donghuang, and the other three aliens, along with the chosen Fallen Angel and Holy Maiden of Light, had each gone where they were meant to go.
And the World Tree, too, waited silently for Shi Ying's arrival.
"So you've come." The World Tree's avatar saw Shi Jin descend and tossed him a leaf containing a hundred god-tier energy crystals of the attribute-less kind.
"Your things."
Shi Jin put them away and nodded. "Thank you."
"Mm. If there's nothing else, off you go." The World Tree's avatar spoke with a pang of distress; it had been idling just now and done the accounts again, only to find that not only had condensing the universe crystals drained a good deal of world force—that brat Shi Jin had truly siphoned off no small amount this stretch as well.
It was harder than raising a god-tier, honestly.
Go on, go on—at least don't come back until it had recovered.
"Right then, Senior Dragon God~!!" Shi Jin called out loudly, and the Dragon God, cultivating elsewhere on the island, opened her eyes, rose into the air, and looked toward Cen Yu's direction.
She landed beside them and spoke: "Ready?"
Shi Jin nodded. "Ready. Let's go."
The World Tree's avatar drew a deep breath. "Safe travels to you both."
The Dragon God nodded in thanks. "Many thanks to Lord World Tree for these past two days of nurturing."
Clearly, over those two days, the World Tree had prepared no small number of fine things for the Dragon God.
Shi Jin smiled faintly.
"Senior Dragon God, will you go first?"
He looked to Senior Dragon God, whose nation-toppling beauty was now tinged with a helpless expression. "You think something will go wrong?"
"How could it. Then I'll go first?" Shi Jin chuckled and produced the teleportation keystone and the universe crystal.
By rights, this teleport ought to be fairly safe, no?
The teleportation keystones were all products of the Realm King Star, and the Realm King was among the universe's most supreme lifeforms—surely nothing could go amiss.
Gazing at the items in his hand, he drew a deep breath, a touch nervous, a touch excited.
"Are you all ready?" Shi Jin asked one last time of the beasts in the beast-taming space, already gathered in a cluster, equally full of anticipation.
"Awoo!!" Eleven spoke up, brandishing its bamboo, ready—to the starry sky, charge, charge, charge!
"Chirp~~" Buggy, in its green-caterpillar form, gazed up at the starry sky, toward a higher stage.
"Eeya!! (My first god-tier kill!)" Ginseng Baby could hardly wait.
"Mew. (Will there be more good shows to watch?)" Scarlet Eye cared about that, having already binge-watched nearly everything Blue Star had to offer, at home and abroad.
"Ning!! (A chance for the Star Sea Spirits!)" Susu's eyes brimmed with starlight—and this one was what Shi Jin worried about most.
Because among the starry sky's five great universe-level powers, besides the Cosmic Overlord Legion, the Cosmic Giant Beast Clan, and the Realm King Star, there was one more, somewhat akin to the Abyss Clan and the Fallen Clan... Forget it, just do it and be done.
"Let's go!" Lin spoke.
Qi, the size of a basketball, hugged the rice-ball-sized Xiao Zi, a little nervous. "Ahhh, it's bound to be even more dangerous over there—more people will want to catch me."
Lin was exasperated. So I told you to stay on Blue Star, but you insisted on tagging along, and now you're scared.
"Emmm, I've never even left Blue Star..." Qi's main reason was, after all, sheer curiosity.
"Roar!!" "Quack!!!" In the second space, buoyed by Xiao Ji and Yaya's fearless, starry-sky-disdaining momentum, Turtle, Little Ice, and the Munchkin Cat were feeling fine.
As the saying goes, newborn calves fear no tigers—these few were the most hyped of all.
What lousy universe—is it as impressive as earth and ocean? thought Xiao Ji and Yaya.
"Farewell for now, Blue Star." And having heard each of his beasts answer in turn, Shi Jin at last activated the teleportation keystone.
"Go for it—you're the strongest." The World Tree spoke again.
Go on, go wreck the Realm King Star!
"See you over there." The Dragon God, too, directly activated her teleportation keystone.
"Mm, see you over there."
As the universe crystal merged into the teleportation keystone, Shi Jin lifted his head and took one look at the World Tree's avatar and the Dragon God.
Then his whole body was wrapped in brilliant white light, and with that, he vanished from Blue Star, bound for a new world.
The Blue Star arc ends here; the Starry Sky arc begins tomorrow.
